Meet the Founder
Amritpal Singh is the founder of NicheProfile, a technology leader and EB-1A mentor whose own immigration journey from years in the employment-based immigration system to EB-1A approval, became the foundation for NicheProfile.

I'm Amritpal Singh, a software engineering leader, and someone who's walked the long, uncertain road of the U.S. immigration system. Like many of you, I came here with big dreams, only to find myself stuck in limbo, held back not by my skills, but by my status. The wait, the fear, the constant uncertainty: I know it all firsthand.
I grew up in a small town in India (Dongargarh), and coming to the U.S. felt like chasing the impossible. I arrived in 2007 on a short-term assignment, and by 2011, I started considering permanent residency through the traditional EB-2 route, only to realize it could take decades.
The journey was long and painful. After years of setbacks, the hardest blow came in 2018 with an H-1B extension denial. By 2019, the anxiety about my family's future was overwhelming. The backlog felt endless, and hope was running out.
Then in 2020, everything changed. A coworker, an everyday engineer, got approved through EB-1A. Until then, I believed EB-1A was only for Nobel laureates or top CEOs. Seeing someone like me succeed opened my eyes. I decided to take control of my future, self-petitioned, and secured my approval.
Since then, I've dedicated myself to helping other high-achieving professionals do the same. NicheProfile is built from that exact experience. It is not just guidance; it is the kind of structured, unwavering support I wish I had when I was in your shoes.
A proven track record across top technology enterprises, real-world immigration breakthrough, and dedicated mentorship.

Guiding principles honed from navigating the EB-1A journey firsthand and analyzing hundreds of USCIS decisions to build high-probability petitions.
Honest diagnostic assessment precedes any petition roadmap.
Not every high-performing engineer or leader is immediately ready to file. Understanding what evidence is already petition-grade and what areas still require targeted development comes first.
Anchor petitions in genuine technical & enterprise impact.
The strongest starting point is the work a professional has actually delivered. We identify how genuine architectural wins, patents, and system-scale impact can be documented and proven.
Demystify the complex roadmap with structured milestones.
Applicants should always have absolute clarity on what they are building toward, why specific evidence matters, and what their immediate next action step is at every stage.
“EB-1A isn't about exaggerating achievements or gaming criteria. It's about engineering your real, authentic professional impact into an undeniable, evidence-backed narrative.”
Guiding tech leaders, researchers, and specialists with a methodology refined across hundreds of successful petitions.
